What is caffeine and how is it metabolized?
Caffeine is a chemical compound naturally present in various products, including coffee and, based on its concentration, contributes to the bitter taste of coffee with a variable percentage between 10 and 30%. Once taken, it is rapidly absorbed by the body with effects that occur in the first 15 minutes after intake and can persist for a few hours.
What are the effects of caffeine on the human health?
Caffeine is firstly a compound with a stimulating effect and studied over the years for its ealth benefits. However, it is also known that the consumption of caffeine in certain categories of consumers may have negative effects. It is important to choose the coffee on the basis on the caffeine content in order to allow each consumer to enjoy the coffee that best suits their needs.
*How much caffeine is in a cup of coffee?
The coffee pods in this pack are characterized by a concentration of caffeine in coffee powder as shown in the table below. By extracting the coffee using a machine capable of delivering water at a temperature between 88 and 95 ° C, in a volume of 25 to 30 ml in a cup and using the pods of this pack, you will take a caffeine content linked to the type of coffee chosen.
